The Somerset Hills Soccer Club and the Kimzey family, through the many contributions of our supporters, will be offering two $500.00 scholarships, one for a male candidate and another for a female candidate.

 The scholarship criteria are as follows:

• The applicant must be a graduating senior
• The award will be offered to any senior who will be attending any type of formal post high school education. This includes, but is not limited to, trade, technical, artistic, junior college, college or university
• The applicant must have participated in SHSC programs for at least 4 full seasons. This includes intramural, travel or Junior Kickers. High school soccer participation is not a requirement
• The application submitted must be post marked by May 27, 2011
• A letter of recommendation will be required from a coach, a club official or a community source (i.e. employer, counselor, minister, priest, etc). The recommendation need not be lengthy. It should be written by a person unrelated to you who can speak to your citizenship and character.

The award will go to the students who best exhibit good sportsmanship and who exemplify the mission of the Somerset Hills Soccer Club.
