Somerset Hills Soccer Club congratulates Basking Ridge native and SHSC alum Tobin Heath on being picked first overall in the recent draft held by the Women’s Professional Soccer league!

Tobin played for several years for Somerset Hills before moving along to play for Player Development Academy, Ridge High School where she earned New Jersey Player of the Year honors, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, winning the NCAA championship in 3 of her 4 years, and the U.S. National Team, winning the Gold Medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

Somerset Hills Soccer Club congratulates Tobin on her many achievements and wishes her much luck with her new team, the Atlanta Beat.
