After 15 scoreless minutes, Caitlyn Laffey opened scoring for the Lightning off a great pass from Nicole Picardo. Annie Thomas added 2 unassisted goals early in the 2nd half, and Lindsey Sheehan finished off a loose ball in the box to put Lightning up 4-0. Allie Matthias put in valuable minutes late in the 2nd half as striker and just missed scoring a left footed shot in the last 5 minutes of play. Ally Lindsey and Jessica Caruso put in strong contributions in midfield to secure the win.
