Cut short by a heavy downpour, the Lightning’s weekend tournament action was cut short to only 1 game, however they made the most of it with a convincing win against the Shockers. Annie Thomas powered a shot into the net in the 18th minute of play to open the lead, and in the ending minutes Jessica Caruso beat a defender and the keeper for the second in a rain soaked afternoon match. Outstanding team defense by Alexa Farrell, Brynn McKeon, Madison Mitzner and Madison Lui paved the way to the Lightning's 3rd consecutive shutout.
