Nicole Picardo opened scoring in the 6th minute with a solid finish off a great pass from Caitlyn Laffey. Lightning’s defense battled to maintain the clean sheet until half time thanks to several fine saves from 1st half goalkeeper Madison Lui. Picardo connected a second time in the 38th minute, this time off a pass from Lui. Madison Mitzner played solidly in center midfield and Allie Matthias put in a strong effort as Striker.
