Millburn dominated play in the first half, keeping posession in the Lightning half for most of the early minutes. Hard work in the midfield from Regan Chatwin and Allie Matthias in the 2nd half kept the Lightning on attack for most of the remainder of the game, but the Lightning couldn’t find the net until the 40th minute when Jessica Caruso equalized the score off a pass from Madison Lui. With 1 minute left in the match Lui netted an unassisted goal to secure a dramatic come from behind victory for the Lightning.
